The Minister for the Arts and Sport, Senator Rod Kemp, today announced the appointment of Peter McMahon to the Bundanon Trust Board.

'He has combined a career in finance with nearly 20 years experience as a board member for arts organisations.'

Since 1999, Mr McMahon has been the Chairman of the Federation Square Board of Management, and he is currently a non-executive director of ING Australia.

A foundation member of the Georges Mora Trust, he was a member of the Board of the Heide Museum of Modern Art from 1989 to 1996 and sat on the Board of the Australian Print Workshop from 1991 to 1993.

The gift included an extensive collection of artworks, letters, photographs and antique furniture, and many items created by or associated with four generations of the talented Boyd family.

In addition Guy, Arthur, Merric and Emma Minnie Boyd, many well-known Australian artists are represented in the Bundanon collection, including Sidney Nolan, Charles Blackman, Leonard French, John Perceval, Joy Hester, Brett Whiteley and Frank Crozier.
